TRANSFORMERS MOVIE Story Summary 3: Dark Of The Moon (2011):
The American government has been completely honest was not revealed what they know. For years they tried to find out about the existence of living beings other than humans that inhabit the earth, but they never say if they actually have a considerable amount of evidence.
When Apollo 11 landed on the moon, the astronauts were found proofs of the existence of extraterrestrial beings. They found the wreck of which was the ship carrying cargo that could supposedly ended the war between Autobots and Decepticons. This aircraft made an emergency landing on the moon and the carcass was found by U.S. astronauts.
No one knows where this ship until the Autobots find evidence of the location of this boat. Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) and his friends were off to the moon to find out the truth. They found Sentinel Prime (Leonard Nimoy, the former leader of the Autobots, in a coma and brought back to earth. Apparently, unbeknownst to the Autobots, there's evil plans to take over the Milky Way in the interest of Cybertron. In a critical condition such as this, once again Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) must step in to help the Autobots.
